The Fransziskaner Museum describes various aspects of Villingen's history. A section covers the evolution of the city from medieval times to industrialization; another is devoted to the costumes of the Fastnacht or Fasnet, regional version of the carnival, traditionally very celebrated here with its costumes of Narros. Finally, a third section is centered around an imposing Celtic tomb of the 1890 th century BC, discovered in the surrounding area and reproduced grandeur nature.
