DEUTSCHES SCHIFFFARHTSMUSEUM (GERMAN MARITIME MUSEUM)

For lovers of the history of the navy, of man's relationship with the sea, this museum is fascinating. You can visit several ships, all kinds of model boats are on display. We admire the evolution of boats throughout history. Enough to make you want to sail, to go to sea. The "star" of the museum is the oldest boat, dated 1380. You will discover how it was built, what life on board consisted of, how it was carefully kept away from the general public for forty years, since its discovery in 1962. The museum also organizes guided tours of the boats displayed at the quayside in the port.
