The Church Ste Elisabeth, built by the brothers of the Ordre Order shortly after canonization
from Elisabeth in 1235, was the first purely Gothic church in Germany. It will find the mausoleum of the Holy, richly painted - the church was a great place of pilgrimage until the Reformation; the altars and statues most often devoted to the holy one; but also some tombs of the Landgraves in Hesse.
Near the church, you can see the ruins of the hospital founded by Elisabeth.
