... better known as Montserrat Air Force. The machine, inaugurated in 1930, rises to an altitude of 500 metres to allow you to reach the famous monastery. It is as expensive as the rack-and-pinion train, a means of transport sold in the various tourism or transport "packages" to Montserrat, and yet the experience is much more beautiful! I tested both options on my last visit to Montserrat - cable car ride and rack train ride - and the verdict is final: for thrills and breathtaking views, opt for aerial photography!
