This cable car travels 1,350 metres in just 5 minutes, offering an absolutely splendid panorama of Montserrat.
This cable car, which is one of the three ways to reach the top of Montserrat, travels in five minutes over a thousand meters to the top of the mountain. During the trip, you will enjoy a spectacular view! It was inaugurated in 1930 and has been in operation since then, with almost no interruption. The departure is from the Montserrat-Aeri station. Although it is the fastest way to reach the monastery, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and its use is not recommended for people with vertigo.
