MODERNIST HERMITAGE OF THE DEU DE LA RIERA POND
Unique modernist hermitage surrounded by a grove, built by the famous architect Francesc Berenguer i Mestre, disciple of Gaudi
A quarter of an hour's drive from Reus, heading northwest, we come across the small village of Les Borges del Camp and its large modernist hermitage, located 800 meters from the city center. Built in 1903-1904 by the famous architect Francesc Berenguer i Mestre, a disciple of Gaudí, it was partially destroyed in 1939 and rebuilt in 1954 under the direction of the architect Francesc Adell. A unique modernist architecture surrounded by a beautiful grove.
