CASA NAVÀS
Splendid modernist building designed by the Catalan architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner between 1901 and 1907 in Reus.
Nicknamed the "guapa del mercadal" (the beauty of the market), this splendid Modernist building was designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner between 1901 and 1907. The ceramics, mosaics, stonework and stained glass windows of the Casa Navàs bear witness to the richness of the decorative arts within the Modernist movement. Unlike many other buildings of the same type in the city, this true masterpiece has not undergone any subsequent modifications to its design. On the ground floor, be sure to visit the shop.
