On the outskirts of Dapani, the padzas offer a colourful spectacle: in good weather, the blue of the sky revives the red of the earth and the lagoon reveals its turquoise waters. This "red desert" is one of those wonders that only nature can produce, but from an ecological point of view, the fierce erosion of these lands is rather a danger for the lagoon.
