Cave with indoor pools and fabulous light shows offering guided tours accessible to the whole family.

Discovered in 1939, this cave has many stalactite and stalagmite formations, indoor pools and fabulous light shows. The limestone in which the cave was dug, was formed several hundred million years ago. Don't forget to bring a sweater, even in summer, as it never gets above 15°C. Cave of the Mounds has attracted thousands of tourists from all over the Midwest to visit it since its discovery. Tours are guided and last about an hour. They are accessible to the whole family.
