Michelin-starred restaurant serving refined, inventive cuisine using quality local produce.

Between Domfront and Flers, this Michelin-starred restaurant - housed in the former canteen of the mining town of La Ferrière - serves elaborate cuisine. The decor pays homage to natural materials (wood, glass), creating a hushed atmosphere. On the plate, chef Hubert Nobis creates inventive dishes based on a harmony of flavors and local produce, such as his signature dish: pomme de ris de veau piquée à l'andouille de Vire. The 7-course tasting menu, no less, allows the chef to showcase the full extent of his talent.

Restaurant intimiste; nous avons apprécié la qualité des plats à base de produits locaux revisités par le chef et d'une présentation impeccable; le service discret est très correct. La carte des vins de qualité pourrait cependant être un peu plus étoffée.

L'auberge de la mine est un excellent restaurant que nous fréquentons depuis de nombreuses années. Nous y avons emmenés plusieurs amis et membres de la famille : il y a unanimité sur l'excellence de la cuisine, de la présentation et du service.
L'étoile Michelin est largement méritée . Les menus comme les vins sont à prix trés raisonnables.
