The interest of the La Ferrière church (rebuilt between the 17th and 19th centuries) lies in its interior, with its Stations of the Cross, stained glass windows and embroidered liturgical mantle. The 14 stations in reconstituted and tinted stone are the work of Claude Gruer (1953), a sculptor who worked for Solesmes Abbey and whose sculptures can be found in Lisieux, Angers and Wimereux. In 1976, the sculptor published his mirrored Stations of the Cross with the 14 poems Paul Claudel composed in 1911.
