A zoo located in Emmen, housing elephants, hippos, penguins, piranhas, and combining attractions

Situated on a 24-hectare site, the zoo attracts visitors not only for its elephants, hippos, penguins and piranhas, but also for its extraordinarily colorful aviary of tropical butterflies (over 1,500 species!). The site is also home to attractions where visitors can take part in an adventure, such as a safari. You'll be transported to Africa in a motorized vehicle. Every day, a varied program of activities is on offer to delight young and old alike.
