ZEEUWS ARCHIEF
A place including the genealogical center of the region and a branch of the Roosevelt Institute
The Zeeuws Archives bring together archives from all over Zeeland. This study center houses a large number of documents, which are available for consultation. They are housed in the Van de Perrehuis, an urban palace dating from the 18th century. It's quite a majestic place, built over the cellars of a German commandery. For public functions, the site has been extended with a modern wing housing the repositories, a reading room and a café. The site also houses the region's genealogical center and a branch of the Roosevelt Institute.
