CODA APELDOORN
Cultural site with a museum, with a beautiful collection of jewelry and accessories, a library and municipal archives.
CODA is a cultural center that brings together a museum, a municipal library and the municipal archives under one roof. The building was designed by Dutch architect Herman Hertzberger. The collections, originally housed in the former Van Reekum Museum, are extremely varied, and include paintings, sculptures and graphic works. CODA owes its reputation above all to its collection of 9,000 jewels and accessories, acquired in conjunction with other museums in the country. Items include a Schiaparelli brooch by Lady Gaga.
