Lockenhaus Castle is the oldest castle in the state, built in Romanesque style and remodeled in Gothic, picturesquely situated on its hillside. It is a spectacular, chivalrous and fairytale castle. It houses the famous Knights' Hall, decorated with frescoes. Nearby, on Calvary Hill, the Stations of the Cross date back to 1851. Nearby, also in Lockenhaus-Langeck, the school museum presents the history of education in the region since the 12th century. Hotel and restaurant on site.
