A jewel of religious architectural heritage whose bulbous bell towers can be seen from afar... The Benedictine abbey of Sankt Lambrecht was founded in the 11th century. At the beginning of the 12th century, it was endowed with an abbey church, whose current state dates from the end of the 14th century. The abbey church is distinguished by its rich interior, its frescoes and its statuary. The beautiful baroque buildings were partly designed by the famous Italian architect Domenico Sciassia. A visit of great spirituality.
