This railway bridge, rebuilt after being destroyed during the war, links the Ruhr region and Aachen.
The Duisburg-Hochfelder railway bridge dates from 1873. It was replaced in 1927 by a new bridge which, after being destroyed during the war, is still used today to connect the Ruhr area with Aachen. It is worth seeing the tower on the right bank: the Brückenturm Rheinhausen Duisburg, a remnant of the original bridge.
