This museum is dedicated to contemporary and modern (inter)national art. It is particularly renowned for its collection of feminist art, art nouveau, design and decorative arts. Dutch artists are obviously in the spotlight, with the group of New Realists from The Hague (Rein Drayer, Co Westerik and Herman Berserik). The building underwent a major renovation which was completed in 2022, providing a modern extension while respecting the original architecture. The sculpture garden is open to the public.
