Ruin of the Saint Martin's chapel in a beautiful park of Nijmegen, a historical monument to discover.
The chapel of Saint-Martin, built in 1155 by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, was part of the castle. All that remains today is a ruin consisting of a semicircular apse and a small part of the choir. The whole is set in a beautiful park, which you should not miss on your visit to Nijmegen. Protected after the demolition of Valkhof Castle, this ruin, together with the park and chapel, forms a historic monument.
