LARVIK MUSEUM
This museum complex brings together three sites: a manor house (Herregarden), built in 1673 for the viceroy of Denmark who had taken up residence in Larvik, it is a typically Norwegian wooden construction; the marine museum (Sjøfartsmuseum), which tells, among other things, about the construction of a polar ship and the maritime history of the area. There are also temporary exhibitions and activities. A section on geology and the ore industry is located in Verkensgarden, on the road to Stavern. A nice visit to make with the family if you pass by Larvik.
