This Man Mo Temple (not to be confused with the Sheung Wan Temple), located in the heart of the market, is a Taoist shrine dedicated to the deities of Literature (Man) and War (Mo). This place of worship, steeped in Tai Po's history, recalls its past as a strategic point on the river leading to Tolo Bay, where trade once flourished. As you enter the temple, spiraling incense and lanterns create a mystical atmosphere, while the faithful pray for success and protection. A place with an authentic atmosphere.
