Tai'an station is actually named Gare station, proof of the importance of Mount Taishan for tourism development in the city. From Beijing (south train station), fast trains connect Taishan station (2 hours fast train). Consider taking a A/R ticket from your departure because tickets are very difficult to buy on site. From the station you can also reach all the other towns of Shandong and of course the main cities of China.
