STRONG ROMANESQUE HOUSESTEADS
The ruins of this ancient stronghold of the wall stand proudly on a hill facing the wilderness nature and the distant forests of Northumberland. The legionnaires were replaced by sheep grassouillets, but the emotion was still great when one walked the foundations of what was at the time a bustling small town. The view is stunning and we have a little idea looking at the north of what the guards who scrutaient the picte territory and the unknown can see. A small museum recounts the history of the sites with a short exhibition and a film. Please note that you can get around the site free of charge.
