Located just over the bridge on Bribie, this Queensland Tourism-accredited tourist information center opened in 1986 and was previously run by the Bribie Chamber of Commerce until the Moreton Bay Regional Council took over in 2006. Today, the center is run by over 30 friendly and knowledgeable local volunteers who help an average of 11,000 visitors a year. When it comes to local knowledge, the center's staff are happy to help visitors - they're your point of contact for everything there is to do on Bribie Island, offering invaluable advice, tips and ideas for making the most of your stay on Bribie. The center itself is packed with information, leaflets, maps and more, to help you make the most of your trip to Bribie. The tourist information center also offers free Wi-Fi, and bus tour groups can book free guided tours of the island of Bribie through the center.
