This swampy area is often favoured by wildlife such as moose. There are several interesting walks around the lake such as the Fenland Trail, 1.5 km long, lasting about 30 minutes. The lake shore is also accessible by car. You can stop for a few moments on the docks and benches around the lake and enjoy the view of Mount Rundle.
