SCOTSCRAIG GOLF CLUB
Scotscraig Golf Club is a golf club located in Tayport, Scotland. It is ideally located just 15 minutes from the famous Old Course in St Andrews. Although the course is not directly by the sea, there are a few sea breezes to take into account when playing this mix of links and moorland. Since 1984, Scotscraig has played host to the Open's final qualifying round on several occasions when it is held in St Andrews. When the Open returned to St Andrews in 2010, Scotscraig once again hosted the final qualifiers. Many famous players such as Ian Baker-Finch, Brian Barnes, Justin Rose, Mark Mouland, Duffy Waldorf, Ernie Els, Lee Westwood and Sam Torrance have played this renowned classic Fife course. Justin Rose describes it as "a superb course, with superb greens and a very friendly atmosphere". The club also offers a 9-hole junior course.
