Part of the history of jazz has been written in Alabama. Relive it by visiting the Hall of Fame with Nat King Cole and Duke Ellington. The building that houses it, the Carver Theater, is one of the city's historic and cultural places. It is located in the heart of the American black quarter of Birmingham and was, during segregation, one of the establishments offering cinema sessions and shows to the black population. Opened in 1935, he retains all the charm of the theatre at the time with his neon and his Hollywood entrance.
