The museum is best known for its train tour. Take a tour of the historic Boulder Branch Line on a 1930s Union Pacific train. The 9-mile round trip from Boulder City to Railroad Pass takes about 45 minutes. For the rest, the museum consists of two tracks with several locomotives. It is a self-guided area with signs inside and outside the cars for your information.
