DENVER ART MUSEUM
A beautiful museum of contemporary art not to miss. The architecture of its main building, the famous Frederic C. Hamilton Building, is an imposing structure similar to a titanium crystal signed Daniel Libeskind. The visit begins from the outside with beautiful pieces of art in XXL format, the emblematic 10 meter high-caliber sculptor realized by Claes Oldenburg and Cossje Van Bruggen. Within several levels, temporary exhibitions, which rotate every three to four months, and permanent exhibitions. It is dedicated to European, American, Asian, Spanish art and includes the largest collection of Amerindian art in the world. In total, there are almost 68,000 objects of art, a mixture of photographs, sculpture of wood or stone, classical and contemporary paintings from all over the world. The museum also has a residency program for artists (check online programming to know if there is an artist in creation when you come).
