CITY PARK
City Park is the green lung of the city center spread over more than 130 hectares of lawns, sports grounds (baseball, basketball, football…), statues and other memorials, basins and lakes. Paradise of cyclists, with a track of almost 12 kilometers long, the park is also a major cultural center. It alone brings together the zoo and the museum of natural history and the sciences of Denver. For both premises and visitors, it is one of the most popular trips to get the air. You will see families who picnic, young people lying on the lawn or sportsmen at work. If you have time in front of you, rent a canoe and slide through the panorama on the mountains in the background. The fans of literature will also love to settle down under Shakespeare's tree, a magnificent orma from a boulder from the graveyard where the famous playwright rests and planted in City Park three centuries after his death. Finally, golf enthusiasts will enjoy a magnificent course in the northern part of the park.
