The Medinah Country Club is a private club in Medina, Illinois. He is one of the most mythical and prestigious golf courses in the United States. It has nearly 600 members. About 260 hectares, three golf courses, Kadijah Lake, swimming facilities and a Byzantine-style club-house reminiscent of a mosque, Louis XIV style and some architectural aspects borrowed from Italian architects. A unique club-house! The Medinah is widely known for its third course, 7,657 metres, which hosted five major championships: Three US Open (1949, 1 975, 1990) and two PGA Championships (1999, 2006). It was also chosen as the host land of the Ryder Cup in 2012.
