LOUISVILLE MEGA CAVERN - MEGA TRAM

The Tram Tour will take you into an underground adventure under Louisville rich in history and geology. The cave is part of a limestone quarry (the Louisville Crushed Stone Quarry) that was used here for 42 years for the construction of the country's roads and bridges. In 1989, it was partly bought by investors to create a commercial deposit. Today, 12 different companies operate the premises. However, the 37 ha and 17 miles of underground corridors are also dedicated to tourist and leisure activities. The tram tour allows you to discover the history of the mine, its secrets and its current use. There is no planned walk in this guided tour. The temperature is 14,5 ° C all year.
