CHURCHILL DOWNS
Churchill Downs is a mythical hippodrome for all horse racing fans. Inaugurated in 1875, the track sees itself defying the world's pure blood, especially at the beginning of May in the famous Kentucky Derby, also known as Run for the Roses, with 564 roses that the winning horse receives. On every first Saturday in May, nearly 160 000 people hurry to attend the most important equestrian event in the United States. Many are already present on the eve of another very expected race: Kentucky Oak. The Kentucky Derby Museum, the Kentucky Derby museum, has a better approach to the racing world as they are experienced here.
