Located in the Butchertown district, this very simple chalet was built in 1850. Thomas Edison (1847-1931) would have spent part of his stay in Louisville as a télégraphique for the Western Union from 1866 to 1867. Built by a German immigrant, the house is a Talking type home: a house characterized by its rectangular structure, its closeness and the presence of front and rear doors. Inside, a small museum pays tribute to the inventor of genius, the pioneer of electricity, film and sound recording.

Passionnant et très enrichissant. Très beau parc en bordure de rivière. Visite de la maison d'Henry Ford, le voisin et ami.
