The founder of Old Forester was the first to bottle and seal his bourbon, a revolutionary breakthrough that completely changed the beverage economy.
Since June 2018, the distillery has opened a Visitor Center, located downtown, which allows you to discover the history of Old Forester, whose factories are located in a nearby village, and on bourbon production in general. It leads the visitor through the different production phases, from fermentation tanks to bottling and barrel making. The distillery is the only one that offers a demonstration of barrel making. The visit ends, of course, with a tasting.
