It was in 1986 that Augusto, the owner, decided to return to his hometown, accompanied by his wife Luana. After a career in the restaurant business, Augusto was keen to create a boutique for gourmets, adorned with quality products. A true "witch's store"(strega means "witch" in Italian) that won't sell you poisoned potions or toad drool, but rather organic gourmet products, oils, olives, honeys, jams and chestnut creams, cookies, cheeses, and jarred vegetables like artichokes. Delicious stuff!
