On the road leading to Pointe Coton, look for a pretty Creole hut with tables under a varangue and others scattered in the garden, next to the swing... It's there. In the plates, an honest local cuisine which varies every day according to the products of the market and the fishing: stewed crab, sausage rougaille, zourite curry, grilled lobster (when there is some, remember to ask for the price beforehand!), sausage rougaille... For real desserts or more elaborate dishes, reserve in advance. A typical address, at reasonable prices.

On est venu au restaurant pour le déjeuner : c'était bon, toujours en portion généreuse comme partout à Maurice et Rodrigues et un bon prix (450 roupies le curry). Par contre beaucoup, beaucoup (beaucoup) de moustiques et les toilettes HS. Plutôt une bonne adresse tout de même à la pointe Coton.

Cuisine locale et familiale servie sur une très jolie terrasse par une gérante aux petits soins.

I wouldn't suggest this place. The owner lacks manners, and I'm surprised there are positive reviews. We ordered octopus curry, but it wasn't fresh; they used dried octopus instead. We wanted an extra plate for two kids to share, but she refused. The service is terrible, the main person lacks manners, and the place is dirty and smelly.

Un restaurant tout simple, avec une terrasse ombragée et bien agréable.
Pas de liste de plats à rallonge mais un choix limité parmi des plats locaux à prix unique. C'est savoureux et bien servi. Que demander d'autre ?
Le service est efficace mais un peu discret (trop ?) On aurait sans doute aimer parler un peu plus avec la personne qui nous a servi... mais rien de grave, courtoisie et sourire étaient au rendez-vous. En résumé que du bon dans cet endroit bien sympathique.
