Beautiful garden with guided tours. You will take around 45min to 1 hour here. At the end of the track you can learn some creole words too.

Beautiful little garden depicting plants according to the five senses we use in everyday life: smell, touch, taste, hearing and vision. Very instructive as explained by a knowledgeable guide.

Lovely lady who took us around. Not a huge amount going on there, but if you love unique plants, and not so unique plants, it’s worth a walk through. The majority of the unique plants were actually outside the gardens entrance.

It may be interesting for tourists but not as much for mauritians. Learned some new medicinal use of certain plants. More for children and ado. Guide was well versed in her speech.

The guide explained very well the different endemic plants and the benefits and usage of medicinal plants. We were astonished upon hearing the advantages of some plants that we consider very common and only decorative.
We were offered maize cake and pain d'épices with citronella infusion and mint infusion.
A much recommended place if you are interested in botany and home remedies.

This is a small and well kept place! Anne-Sophie welcomed us with her smile and willingly to share a lot of informations! We spent joyfully 40min in her présence!
The price was 300rs!
The access is quite easy if you have a gps!
ATTENTION ! Take mosquito repelant or wear long sleeve clothing!

Great place to visit. Tons of informative information on natural medicinal plants.
