CHÂTEAU MON DÉSIR
As we approach, the "wow" effect is immediate: here we are in one of the most beautiful restaurants in Mauritius. Housed in a colonial-style mansion, Château Mon Désir overlooks an impressive concentration of banyan trees and the superb renovated ruins of Balaclava. Down below, a river flows by... A la carte, it's all very tempting. Onthe 1st Saturday of the month, you can take a timeless break for an English-style tea ceremony, and on Sundays, you can enjoy a brunch - don't miss the "œuf cocotte à l'huile de truffes" or the "soufflé au Grand-Marnier".

The selection of food was quite nice and what I enjoyed the most were the entrées which were all very tasty and well thought of. The mains were average with again a large selection of sea and earth. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but there were a large variety of cakes, fresh fruits and chocolate fountain.
The service was also great with very attentive and polite staff, kudos to them.
Overall, enjoyed my time there and would recommend.
Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil et bravo au chef.
