We were staying at the hotel and booked a table for a special occasion. When we showed up we told them we had a reservation and were told to sit anywhere on the patio section as the dinner service had not started yet, we thought this was strange as we had asked specifically for a table with a view of the beach for the occasion. We ordered drinks and sat down which was fine but then when we tried to order food they asked if we had a reservation again as they couldn’t find it in the system apparently. My fiancé had to pull up the email correspondence to prove that we did and they reluctantly sat us at a table in the restaurant but at that point we were too frustrated to stay so we just paid for our drinks and left. At the end of our stay when checking out, we found an invoice for about £150 for a ‘special beach side table set up’ which we disputed and had removed. Very unorganised and unfriendly staff, really disappointed

Wir waren im Juni 2024 da und waren keine Hotelgäste, trotzdem wurden wir sehr herzlich und freundlich aufgenommen. Das Personal war super freundlich und das Essen sehr, sehr lecker. Direkte Strandlage mit tollem Unbedingt Smokey Pirate bestellen,die Zeremonie ist fantastisch.

Cadre très sympa et les cocktails sont très bons. Nous avons passé un agréable moment au couché du soleil. Néanmoins l’accès reste assez compliqué pour les non-résidents de l’hôtel (accès uniquement via réservation). De plus, nous avons été assez mal accueilli par la gardienne de l’hotel … assez décevant pour un hôtel 5 étoiles.

Lovely atmosphere the people were very welcoming . The view wasn’t the best due the the cloudy weather on that day however the night lights felt quite cosy. Vegetarian food menu wasn’t particularly appealing (4/10). Would definitely go again just for the night atmosphere otherwise not sure about daytime.

Direkt am langen Sandstrand mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten, eine super umfangreiche Getränkekarte und jeden Abend ein anderes unterhaltsames Programm machen den Urlaub hier zum Vergnügen. Abwechselnd werden verschiedene Shows und Livemusik angeboten.

With an incredible view on Le Morne mountain and the beautiful beach..got the perfect table to enjoy the best refreshing cocktails, and amazing sushi.
Staffs were friendly and courteous.
From the gatekeeper of the hotel to the waiters at the restaurant, they were all very welcoming. Food and service were very good!

Went for some cocktails for my birthday and want to thank Wyland for his kindness and hospitality and for supporting us with the booking considering the hotel was pretty much at capacity.
The cocktails were super tasty and high quality and we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

With my wife we had two drinks. We were not guest of the hotel but we were allowed to sit on a bar. Firstly was the atmospere strange and unfriedly because the beach stuff of the hotel asked us to leave the place. We tell them tahat want only a cocktail and not to stay on the beach in resort. It makes me feel strange but on the other hand I got the point the people tahat paied for it want to have peaceful holiday. Finally everybody were very professional and friendly. We had two cocktails and they were outstanding. You can buy cocktails anywhwre in restaurants in flic en flac but this is new level. I am happy I triedy to ask for one. The price is higher (aprox 750 rupiee for one) but it is worthy. I saw on the bar my few favourite whiskies but not something special. You can find ordinary single malt but I think is enough for most of people. But for me I would preffer higher whisky standard. Other services I cannot juge because I did not try them. Overall I liked it and it ws fine. I you go along definitelly stay for a drink. And you can chceck the teception of the hotel. I think you cannot be a guest to reserve some spa or dinner.

We wanted to reserve a table at the Buddha Beach Bar for my girlfriend's birthday so we could celebrate in a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Communication via email was very slow and unreliable, until we finally stopped receiving any replies. We sent the first email a month in advance. As a result, we had to look for an alternative the day before her birthday. What a pity! They probably don't place much value on the "rabble" who aren't staying at the hotel, and the same was probably true of others who had similar plans to us. But another location did a good deal!

Après avoir été accueillies par 2 serveurs pour boire un cocktail et potentiellement dîner, et confirmation de leur part respective en nous installant à une table, nous avons été éconduites par le « chef barman » car non clientes de l’hôtel (or, nous avions posé la question de la possibilité en arrivant).
Conclusion: Est-ce un bar??NON. Uniquement réservé aux clients de l’hôtel pourtant indiqué nulle part (rien de mentionné sur TripAdvisor site sur lequel ce bar est recommandé et ni sur place…) Par ailleurs, de nombreuses tables étaient disponibles…
Une condescendance du “chef barman” choquante. Pour sur, nous ne recommanderons JAMAIS ni ce bar ni cet hôtel qui dénote avec l’accueil des Mauriciens. Très mauvaise expérience alors nous nous réjouissions d’y aller aux vues des commentaires en ligne qui n’a absolument pas été notre vécu. Bien dommage ..!
