CRYSTAL ROCK
Off the coast of Ile aux Bénitiers, the superb Morne lagoon is famous for its "fonds blancs": vast stretches of shallow sea whose white sandy bottoms give the water incredible shades of blue-green. Set like a jewel against the emerald lagoon, Roche Corail, also known as Crystal Rock, attracts all boaters in the area for an unmissable photo break. It's a large block of coral that appears to float on the water. You can take a boat trip around it, snorkel and dive, but you can't dock there - a sharp composition.
