Near the electric station that feeds the village of Kousba, a trail goes down in the valley. It takes about 45 minutes to walk. Some pilgrims go barefoot by making a vow. In one of the rocky plis was the monastery of Hammatoura. In 1992, a fire damaged the site, but luckily it also helped to update medieval murals. The fire destroyed the modern coating that covered them. In a cave near the monastery is a stalagmitique pillar considered to be a fertility symbol. Feminine clothes are hung there.
