At 3 km from Niha you can visit the Qal Niha caves, "the citadel of Niha". The location is strategic on the road between Saida and the Bekaa plain. This cave fortress stretches over several metres. Steps and tanks carved in the rock can be observed (rainwater was transported by a conduit from a nearby source). The site is isolated and on the hillside. Access is difficult because there is a walk through the wall. You don't have to be dizzy. Some caves are accessible only with climbing equipment.
