THE BERLAND ROSE GARDEN
A sumptuous garden with shady paths, offering an educational trail on the history and origins of roses.
At the gates of the village of Saint-Victor-sur-Loire, the Roseraie du Berland is a small piece of paradise. This sumptuous garden with its shaded paths shelters more than 80 varieties of roses, some of which bear the names of local celebrities such as "Aimé Jacquet" or "Muriel Robin". There are more than 11,500 roses of 85 different varieties. Over an area of 3 hectares, surrounded by hundreds of trees and shrubs, this haven of peace invites contemplation. An educational tour on the history and origin of roses provides a little more information on these magnificent and delicate flowers with a pleasant scent. A fun and pleasant walk to share with the family.
