Established in 2000, Extra City turned to passenger transport in 2011 to become one of the largest bus companies in the country. It operates several daily routes between Harare and Bulawayo (with stops in Chegutu, Kadoma, Kwekwe and Gweru). Two buses per day continue to Victoria Falls (with stops at Lupane and Hwange). Tickets are purchased and departures made from the Extra City office, not far from downtown. The company has offices in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls. The service is generally reliable.
