Less interesting and comprehensive than the one in Bulawayo, which is the largest and most beautiful of its kind in the region, the Harare Museum of Humanities focuses primarily on archaeology and ethnography. The first part explores the role of witch doctors in Zimbabwean tradition. A large section is devoted to human evolution: Stone Age, rock art, Iron Age, including the development of trade. Another part is a slide show of the regional fauna and flora detailing lifestyles, different habitats, etc.
