Very nice Bed and Breakfast in old englsih style. It was one of the oldest "hotels" in the area, and ahas some amazing walks around the direct surrounding,. The breakfast is a classic english breakfast with a good amount of food.
Pine Tree Inn is the best place to detach from the usual life. The surrounding landscapes are so amazing especially the view of The Susurumba, the air quality & everything around is just amazing.
I never enjoyed my stay there at all. The rooms smell extremely musty, you hardly can breathe at night especially when you gave closed all the windows and doors. There are coackroaches all over the place, the blankets are dirty. There is no hot water for showering, considering the low temperatures in Nyanga. Poor lighting too. The place needs total renovation. I dont recommend anyone to visit soon!
Had a nice time at Pine Tree..the Chef was so welcoming and i enjoyed the food. The male receptionist though is a complete idiot and was rude always trying to fleece us by charging extra for every little thing.
Pine Tree Inn is a charming little place with exceptional views, cozy rooms and is run by friendly and attentive staff. The food was average and definitely overpriced, but during a one-night stay you don't mind so much. Beds were comfortable, hot water was available even when electricity was not and I would love to return in the future. Only room for improvement was the food and the prices of the food.
Excellent service from Victor and his team, but the bathrooms needs refurbishment, tiles is a must, carpets absorbs moisture which is causing an uncomfortable smell in the rooms .
Due to power outages the owner shower have a solar power back up system.
The meals are good but pricey. The place is gorgeous outside with a beautiful view of the mountains.
We had a lovely time at Pine Tree Inn. First time in Zimbabwe for my mother in law and she can’t wait to go back because of the beautiful, lovely people of Nyanga. The place needs updating however the service was second to none! Lovely wood fire in the rooms and restaurant. Best food from the chef who clearly had 5 star training. The trout was fresh and tested delicious and the scones were freshly made just for us. Great location for the casino and Mutarazi Falls.
