The York camp was built by the Forestry Commission and is now owned by Allied Timbers, a private company. Established on the York Forest Estate (an area of 1,455 ha), York consists of six wooden cottages, similar to our mountain chalets. Each unit has two lovely bedrooms on the first floor, a common room on the first floor (fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, bathroom) and a large terrace-balcony with barbecue overlooking the Nyanga Mountains.
