As its name indicates, Halfway Bistro is halfway between Harare and Mutare (before Rusape town towards Mutare). A large white building on the right with a garden, a bar, a supermarket, a restaurant and a small boutique with all kinds of local antiques. Built in 1891, this is the only real stop where you will find something you can restore on the road, or relax. Possibility to sit lunch in the garden. The snack offers roasted chickens, fries, sandwiches and other snacks for less than USD 10.
