Always a memorable stay. Very friendly and warm staff. Super comfy rooms with clean linen, clean carpets and clean bathroom. Room service is now 24hrs. Stayed in the 3rd floor this time around and sad to say water pressure in the shower was so so low and the water wasn't hot at all. The remote for the TV wasn't working properly. Lighting in the room was so dim. I was disappointed with the room service, ordered sandwiches and it took 1hr 40mins to be delivered to the room. The food is very nice but service should improve. Breakfast did not meet my usual expectations, could do with more variety.
My stay at Holiday Inn Mutare was wonderful! The hotel's clean rooms and friendly staff made me feel right at home. Plus, its proximity to the Zimbabwe-Mozambique border and the stunning Vumba Mountains made it the perfect base for my adventures. The staff went above and beyond to assist me, even helping me with internet issues. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast—I left the hotel feeling energized and ready to explore. With safe parking available on-site, I didn't have to worry about my vehicle during my stay. Overall, Holiday Inn Mutare provided the comfort and convenience I needed for a memorable trip.
Holiday Inn Mutare is located in the City Centre of Mutare. The place is the most decent hotel dwelling in Mutare and their service is generally good. Their food is usually great though in my current stay I twice got served vegetables that were going bad, once at breakfast and once at dinner. Their rooms are clean though lighting could be improved in some. The room service is on point with provisions being timeously provided or replaced. Personally the sewing kit came in handy for me as I had a bit of a clothing disaster. There is also inadequate parking space at the hotel, however provision is there for an overflow parking space. There is a great gym which could do with an additional of power machines or weights for bench presses, all that having been said, it is indeed a well equipped gym. The hotel stall are super friendly and courteous. Thumbs up to them. Some of the furniture in the rooms is desperately screaming to be replaced. These include a torn couch that was in my room. The air-cone was well functional but the frequent dripping of water on the carpet inside the room was a bit of a turn-off. The bar fridge was a bit too tiny. It couldn’t fit a two six packs of my favorite beverage. Holiday Inn Mutare is a definitely recommended place if one is staying in Mutare or passing by Mutare without much consideration on the bugdet or maybe on a sponsored budget.
One of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The linen was very clean and fresh with options of firm or soft pillows. The only issue is its location, it was very noisy with a loud church service that went well into the night.
Wow, amazing experience would recommend them anytime. You need to book in advance though as the place almost always has something going on multiple organisations booking accommodation there.
Free ice in the facility in the corridors of the rooms, loved it.Rooms are clean with all the modern amenities.
Views from the rooms are nice especially if u get a room at the top floors like I did.
